The International Clinical Skills Training Program in Kiel (17–2 September 2026) provides two days of focused, hands-on medical skills training together with an overview of how these procedures are carried out in German hospitals. The program is designed for international medical students and includes step-by-step instruction, small-group practice, direct guidance from clinicians, and a practical reference booklet covering BGA, electrolytes, and emergency patterns.
In addition to the clinical skills component, the program explains how the German medical system is structured and what hospitals expect from students and trainees. Participants are introduced to the documents required for applications, how to approach hospitals for observerships (“Hospitation”), and what is involved in preparing for clinical rotations and future residency opportunities in Germany.
The program also offers opportunities to meet clinicians and trainees working in German hospitals, ask questions, and build useful professional contacts. Students gain a clear understanding of hospital culture, available pathways for clinical experience, and how to position themselves for training in Germany. All participants receive a certificate of participation to support future applications.
